The Rock: Will He Return to WWE?
Even after years, The Rock will continue to be one of the most remembered wrestlers of WWE. His talent in the ring and microphone skills were his pillars to transcend in the company during the Attitude Era.
Although he left WWE in 2003 to focus on his acting career, The Rock has always made time for some sporadic appearances. The last presence of the former champion was at WrestleMania 32 in 2016.
At 46 years old, is there still a chance for The Rock to return? According to David Meltzer, a specialized journalist, the possibilities of the former WWE champion coming back are minimal due to his busy schedule and age.
"The Rock got injured last year. He injured his hamstring, a tear in the fibers of one of the muscles in the back of the thigh. It wasn't the first time it happened, and when it happens to you many times, it's probably not a good idea to force it, especially as you get older," he declared.
It is worth noting that WWE had planned for The Rock to be at WrestleMania 34, partnering with Ronda Rousey, but he couldn't appear due to his projects. It seems that the former champion may have already unofficially retired.
