WWE SmackDown: Samoa Joe qualifies for Money in the Bank ladder match
This week's WWE SmackDown took place at the PNC Arena in North Carolina. The main protagonist was Samoa Joe, who became the final qualifier for the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Although Samoa Joe was originally scheduled to face Daniel Bryan, the WWE SmackDown management revealed that Big Cass, the original opponent of the 'Destroyer', was ready to compete. Thus, the match turned into a triple threat.
When Daniel Bryan was about to make Big Cass submit, Samoa Joe interfered and took advantage of the former champion's fatigue. With his famous 'Coquina Clutch', the 'Destroyer' became the eighth participant for Money in the Bank.
"I said I was going to win this match and it happened. I also assured that Daniel Bryan would fall to the mat with my 'Coquina Clutch', and this occurred. Now, believe me when I say that I will win the Money in the Bank ladder match," Samoa Joe said after WWE SmackDown.
