Since its establishment as WWE's development ground in 2012, NXT has established itself as one of the company's biggest attractions
As its in-ring quality and rivalries are of very high quality, it is considered as the third brand and a real competition (at a competitive level) for the main roster.
So much so that apparently, the company itself would be stealing ideas from NXT to bring them to the main roster. This according to Dave Meltzer, who reported in the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Triple H, who is in charge of the development ground, does not seem very happy with certain ideas from the Management. The fact is that, the announced ladder match for the NXT North American Championship at TakeOver: New Orleans, may not be the only match with that stipulation this month, as WWE could be considering the idea of having a ladder match at WrestleMania. Here are his statements:
"So Triple H told them: 'I can't change the stipulation of the NXT match because it has already been announced, why do you want to do the same thing?' That's how he explained it, since he later complained to them: 'I asked you in advance if you were going to schedule a ladder match and you said no'"
