After leaving WWE, Ryback focused more on speaking on his podcast. Known as a controversial person, he has managed to position his show as one of the fans' favorites.
Ryback talks about the possibility of returning to WWE
Ryback was recently interviewed by The Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling to talk about various professional wrestling topics. "The Big Guy" regarding the theory that there is bad blood between him and Rusev pointed out that "people choose what they want to see" and denied having a bad relationship with the Bulgarian.
"I think there are a lot of people who are so intelligent and know everything about wrestling and I can't tell you how many times I've talked about Rusev as one of my favorite opponents of all time and one of my favorite people. What friends do is connect online and sometimes they speak badly of each other. He has done it to me and I have done it to him and it is unfortunate that we live in a day and age where people can choose what they want to see."
"I see him doing an Instagram live and I click on it. He sees me, smiles, and says 'Big Guy'. I leave a comment and he makes a comment about me that we talk about through text. He made a comment about me not being natural and I hooked onto the bad guy in that because two friends were having fun and it was one of those things where he tells me 'Ryback no problem', well, no one takes that part."
"Everyone believes that Ryback was blocked from Rusev's Instagram and I can assure you that I am not blocked and we were talking today. People have to understand that guys laugh at those things. If I had problems with someone, the last thing I would do is go on an Instagram live and interact with him."
