The WWE Champion reveals his plans for WrestleMania 34
In his latest promo during SmackDown Live, the WWE Champion declared that he will steal WrestleMania 34 with Shinsuke Nakamura. This is highly likely to happen due to the quality of both contenders, as they may never have such a media opportunity again to prove that they are still the cream of the industry. However, another story from the blue brand is currently monopolizing almost all the attention: the return to the ring of Daniel Bryan.
Daniel Bryan confirms his match for WrestleMania
"The American Dragon" will return to the Superdome in New Orleans, leaving a trail of potential matches that have been occupying the minds of fans for a week now (a sentiment shared by SÚPER LUCHAS). After Dolph Ziggler, Nakamura, Kurt Angle, and Kenny Omega threw down the gauntlet, a new challenger has joined the list. Here are the words of AJ Styles in an interview with Sports Illustrated.
"Wow, now that he has been cleared, who knows when Daniel Bryan and I will have the opportunity to share the ring? But who knows when I will face Seth Rollins, or Finn Bálor again, or maybe even Randy Orton? These are guys I haven't faced yet, but now that Daniel Bryan is cleared and ready, he has gotten in line to face me. Who knows who will come first? There are many great things that will happen in the coming years."
"The Phenomenal One" also had a chance to talk about his match with Nakamura on April 8th.
"This match is special because we haven't faced each other yet in WWE. The only time we shared the ring was over two years ago in New Japan Pro Wrestling. We gave the fans a taste in the past Money in the Bank, and that moment showed how special this match can be. The fans responded by requesting this match, and I want to deliver it to them. Shinsuke won the Royal Rumble, so we have the opportunity. If you know the history between Shinsuke and me, you will be very excited about this match. But even if you don't know it, just think about what Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles are capable of. Coming together is going to be something special."
"Shinsuke has the same thing in mind as I do. He wants it to be one of the best matches in WrestleMania history. I don't know if we will reach that level, but we will definitely try."
