Yesterday, WWE presented another episode of SmackDown Live, from the Rabobank Arena in the city of Bakersfield, California, in which several rivalries took place. However, many wrestlers like AJ Styles (who defended the WWE Championship in a dark match) remained backstage during the mentioned show.
And according to Sportskeeda, it wasn't only WWE wrestlers who were in the locker rooms during the broadcast of the previous SmackDown Live, as the site reported that Jeff Cobb was present. Cobb, who is the PWG Tag Team Champion, before becoming one of the independent scene's main stars, tried to sign with WWE and even had a tryout with the company. Cobb also works for Lucha Underground as Matanza Cueto.
However, it doesn't seem like Cobb is going to sign with WWE at the moment, because he still has a contract with Lucha Underground. It seems he only went to visit his friends. The same wrestler took a photo alluding to what was mentioned, along with the following message:
Hmmmmmmm I wonder what went on yesterday?!?!? Huge thanks to @MustafaAliWWE and @WWEParkingGuy great to catch us with some very talented peeps! pic.twitter.com/MMmfSy95pD
