The return of Humberto Bandenay to the UFC octagon will have to wait a little longer. The Peruvian fighter has been ruled out for his fight on February 18 against American Steven Peterson.
The reasons why the fighter could not be on the UFC Fight Night 126 card, which will take place in Texas, are problems with his visa. The company announced that Brandon Davis will take Bandenay's place.
"I have been scheduled for another card. There are some problems that I need to resolve for now," Bandenay told Depor after the cancellation of his fight.
Humberto Bandenay made his UFC debut on August 5, 2017, when he achieved an impressive knockout victory over Mexican Martín Bravo. With a flying knee strike, the popular 'Desbande' started his octagon career on the right foot.
After this spectacular triumph, Humberto Bandenay was scheduled to face Alexander Volkanovski on November 18. However, a fracture in his right wrist prevented him from competing in that fight.
