The technical director of Peñarol, Alfredo Arias, suffered a last-minute setback for the very important match that the "carboneros" will have this Saturday starting at 8 p.m. against Defensor Sporting at the Parque Franzini stadium for the fourth round of the Apertura Tournament.
The first setback occurred more than a week ago with the absence of defender Yonatthan Rak due to a hamstring tear in one of his legs, and now a new injury has been added.
Diego Rolan, who had played and had a few minutes in the match last weekend in which Peñarol narrowly won 1-0 against Boston River, is the one affected by this new injury.
In that match, the attacking midfielder came in for the last 15 minutes in place of Abel Hernandez.
The player suffered a calf strain and will not be able to play on Saturday night against Defensor Sporting.
It is worth noting that, as Referí reported, Arias tested Matías Aguirregaray in defense. Aguirregaray had been granted amnesty after serving half of his suspension for an assault against La Luz.
The team that is shaping up against Defensor Sporting for this Saturday is: Thiago Cardozo; Pedro Milans, Matías Aguirregaray, Léo Coelho, Valentín Rodríguez; Sebastián Rodríguez, Sebastián Cristóforo; Ignacio Laquintana, Nicolás Rossi; Abel Hernández and Matías Arezo.
However, Kevin Méndez was also tested in Rossi's position.
