In just three weeks, the most extreme event on the Road to WrestleMania, Elimination Chamber, will take place. This year, it will be owned by Raw and will also see another historic step in the Women's Evolution, as women will be able to compete inside the elimination chamber for the first time.
Given that the winner of the Royal Rumble, Shinsuke Nakamura, chose WWE Champion AJ Styles as his opponent for WrestleMania, the men's elimination chamber will be used to determine the challenger for Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship. Five qualifying matches have been held and, in addition, Elias has earned the right to enter last, putting him in an advantageous position.
On the women's side, this first match within the colossal structure will have the Raw Women's Championship at stake, despite protests from Alexa Bliss, and the participants were selected directly by General Manager Kurt Angle. Notably absent is Nia Jax.
The Irresistible Force will have a unique opportunity, as if Jax can end Asuka's undefeated streak, she will go straight into the match for the Raw Women's Championship, which will become a triple threat. With this, it seems certain that Asuka has chosen Alexa Bliss, or the current champion, as her opponent at WrestleMania.

It has also been announced that the final participant in the elimination chamber will be chosen in a second chance match, where Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, Woken Matt Hardy, and Apollo Crews will have another opportunity to qualify in a Fatal 4-Way match.
