A few hours ago we collected the recent words of Dave Meltzer about the plans for Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 34 after her appearance at the Royal Rumble mentioning two possible rivals. At the moment, everything seems to indicate that this will be the fight that the MMA star will lead.
Ronda Rousey will debut fighting against Asuka at WrestleMania 34!
Now we are not talking about her, but we are still in the "Show of Shows" because in the recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer has talked about other two women's fights that could take place in April. In fact, if one of them were to come true, it would indicate that there would be other plans for "Rowdy" in the mega event.
According to the respected reporter, one of the matches could be Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax for the Raw Women's Championship. The two friends facing off at the biggest PPV of all sounds really interesting. At the moment, there is nothing indicating that they will start a rivalry, but we will see what happens in the coming weeks.
The other match would be Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women's Championship. The Japanese woman can choose to fight for the title she wants after winning the Battle Royal at the Royal Rumble, so she could choose Ric Flair's daughter. This would eliminate her match with Ronda Rousey, and it would possibly happen if The Rock's signing for WrestleMania is finalized.
Dave Meltzer also indicates that there could be a match between Alexa Bliss and Asuka for the title, but he mentions that the company would not be too interested in it.
