Less than a week until the grand event of Raw's 25th anniversary, and we can already outline a kind of preview of what we will see there, from the Manhattan Center and the Barclays Center in New York. Chris Jericho has been one of the big confirmations in recent hours, while Hulk Hogan will surely be the big absence, considering that, in some way, The Rock will be present.

Chris Jericho will be at the Raw 25th Anniversary!

Although we continue to wonder about several names, including Eric Bischoff. It cannot be denied that, ignoring the dislike that many fans may have for him, he was a fundamental part of some great moments in Raw's history. He was the General Manager of the program for almost three years, and under his leadership, the Ruthless Aggression Era began, as well as the creation of the World Heavyweight Championship and the Elimination Chamber, among other achievements. In addition, he was involved in notable angles with Stone Cold, Shane McMahon, or John Cena.

In 2005, Eric Bischoff also had a rivalry with the then General Manager of SmackDown!, Teddy Long

Bischoff granted an interview to Pancakes and Powerslams Show, and gave his vision of WWE's state of health.

"I think overall, I'm quite impressed. Now, I'm not saying that it satisfies my tastes 100% of the time, because that wouldn't be true. But, one of the things I learned a long time ago, which I learned directly from Ted Turner, by the way, one of the few things I remember him telling me personally beyond business strategies, was that when you're in the content programming business -- and in this case, he was talking about how his product was programmed at Turner Broadcasting -- is that you have to be careful not to program for yourself. You have to program for the masses. And I think this has to do with WWE, where I'm sure -- I don't know if it's a fact, but I would bet it is -- that not everything we see in WWE necessarily always satisfies the tastes of Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, or Triple H 100%. Because they don't program for themselves, they program for the masses. And when you program for the masses and try to capture the largest audience you can, sometimes you have to do things that don't satisfy your personal tastes."

Bischoff did not reveal whether he will be present at Raw's 25th anniversary, but instead wanted to praise this longevity.

"I am very impressed with WWE not for any other reason than for being able to adapt and evolve according to the audience's taste, and maintain its relevant position. Not only in the United States, but on USA Network, they are going to celebrate 25 years of being one of the leading programs on all cable television. Anyone on television would like to be able to say this. But not only are they preparing to celebrate 25 years of dominance on cable television here in the US, their content is seen in about 180 countries around the world. So, who wouldn't be impressed by what they see in WWE?"
