Braun Strowman's Journey to the Universal Championship

In his days as General Manager of Monday Night Raw, Mick Foley had to deal with Braun Strowman and his search for better opponents. Now, the Monster Among Men is a headline star who will compete for the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar and Kane at Royal Rumble 2018.

Mick Foley recently conducted an interview with NBC Sports. The WWE Hall of Famer talked about the advice he gave to Braun Strowman.

"I had an important conversation with him about the importance of throwing things backstage. [laughs] I told him about a legendary basketball game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Portland Trail Blazers in 1977, when Darryl Dawkins was ejected. He destroyed the locker room, I never saw it but I heard and knew it was something legendary, and I told him he had the chance to be Darryl Dawkins after that game."
