Wrestling Companies in 2017

In this year 2017, most wrestling companies in the world have shown great quality, surpassing what has been seen in recent years.

Regarding WWE, both Raw and Smackdown Live have improved considerably — largely due to the internal competition that NXT represents — but among all of them, someone stands out who, with his quality, anyone would place on par with the best wrestlers from Japan and Mexico: AJ Styles.

WWE, through its official website, made a list of its top ten Superstars, and The Phenomenal One is number one.

Styles has done impeccable work since his debut, and this year he won the United States Championship twice and regained the WWE Championship. His matches are of a quality that few wrestlers achieve, and his work on the microphone is one of the best within the company. Styles has been one of the most influential wrestlers on SmackDown Live, and although he doesn't always appear as the main event on TV, he usually is the main event on live events, which means he is a draw.

In fact, many times we don't see him fight on the blue brand program because they schedule him to fight after 205 Live, in the main event dark match. This is done so that the audience doesn't leave the arena during the cruiserweight program and instead waits for an extra hour to see Styles in action.
