Bayern Munich, Pep Guardiola, stated this morning that he is unsure if he will renew his contract with the Bundesliga club. His current contract expires at the end of the 2015-16 season.
"I’ve yet to make my mid up", stated Guardiola this morning and he rejected claims that he has received offers from other clubs.
Guardiola insisted that he will continue to do his best at Bayern and admitted that the club may not be best pleased with him for not making a decision regarding his renewal.
"I’ve given my best and will continue to do so. I’m grateful to coach this team", he added.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, recently stated that he was optimistic that Guardiola would finally end up extending his contract with the German club.
Rummenigge recalled how, Guardiola rejected more financially lucrative offers from England before moving to Munich. The last Bayern coach to oversee the team for more than three seasons was Ottmar Hitzfeld.
