Flamengo and Corinthians withdraw from FIFA 16
Flamengo and Corinthians have officially announced their non-presence in FIFA 16 after considering the offer made by EA Sports to be insufficient. They also made it clear their intention to sign exclusively with their competitor, Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), in the coming days.
The problem has been going on for a while
The Brazilian clubs feel ignored by the Canadian company as they were offered very little money for the presence of their teams in the game, especially considering the high profits that the company earns from it. In recent weeks, EA Sports and both clubs' executives have tried to reach an agreement, which has definitively broken down in the last few hours.
Konami's efforts
Konami is trying to close the gap that has opened up with its competitor, and these types of agreements, along with the exclusives they are achieving for this edition, could significantly reduce the difference in sales between the two games.
