Jack Swagger released from WWE

After ten years in the WWE, Jack Swagger was released from his contract earlier this year. He explained that it was a personal decision influenced by the search for new opportunities as well as some of his colleagues who had previously taken the same path, like Cody Rhodes.

During these months, in addition to continuing to wrestle in different independent promotions, including FULL in Mexico, "The All-American" also had some time to talk about different issues related to WWE, making particular reference to wrestlers he personally likes, like Jinder Mahal, and others who should be pushed, like Cesaro.

These days, the American wrestler posted a video in two parts on Twitter in which he asks fans to support independent promotions:

"I know I'm new to the independent scene, but I've noticed a new trend and I want to talk about it. Every time big promotions hold their big shows, especially during holidays, WWE likes to hold a show at the same time. It already happened with WrestleCade in November, as WWE is going to hold Starrcade."

"On November 28, we're going to hold The Wrestling Revolver's Tales From The Ring, and it turns out that NXT is going to have a show the night before. Coincidence? Maybe. But most likely WWE saw our lineup and thought: It's really good! It's going to be a great event! We should do something! We should try to sign all the independent talent so they can't compete with us!"

"I'm not here to talk trash, and I'm sorry for taking this personally, but to me it's a slap in the face. It's time for professional wrestling fans, independent scene fans, to defend it. On November 28, come to The Wrestling Revolver and help us surpass NXT's show. Help us and all the promotions in the same situation. Defend the indies!"
