Arturo Vidal's Accident
Arturo Vidal had a car accident just when he was returning to the Juan Pinto Durán concentration, after the free afternoon given by Jorge Sampaoli after the 3-3 draw with Mexico, match in which he scored two goals.
The midfielder was taken with his wife Matía Teresa Matus to Buin Hospital to assess injuries. The medical report given by the healthcare center confirmed that Vidal only suffered a minor neck contusion, while his wife dislocated her right elbow, so she was transferred to a private clinic.
Vidal, accompanied by Felipe Correa, selection manager, and Jorge Desio, physical trainer of the national team, gave a statement at the 15th Buin police station, where he arrived around midnight.
"Unfortunately, I was involved in a car accident. Luckily, we are all fine and calm. Thanks for the concern!" wrote the midfielder of the national team on his Twitter account around 12:30 in the morning.
The Ferrari had attracted attention
The Ferrari that Vidal had bought during this national team concentration had attracted attention from the media and the fans.
In fact, on Tuesday, when he was leaving Pinto Durán to enjoy his free time, he signed autographs for some fans.
