Sebastian Vettel, winner of the Hungarian GP, the tenth race of the Formula 1 World Championship, declared after his victory that it was "an incredible day" and dedicated the win to Jules Bianchi. The German achieved his forty-first victory in F-1, equaling the third best historical record of the ill-fated Ayrton Senna, a triple world champion. "We know it has been an incredibly tough week and it is, I think for all of us, very, very difficult," said the German, who only has ahead of him the Frenchman Alain Prost, a four-time world champion, who won 51 races; and the record man of the category, Michael Schumacher, with seven crowns and 91 victories.
"So this victory is for Jules and for everyone at Ferrari,"
a team that we all knew that sooner or later (Bianchi) was going to be a part of; that he was going to be a part of this family," said Vettel, who pronounced in French the words "Cette victoire, c'est pour Jules" ("This victory is for Jules").
About what were his thoughts when, after a great first part of the race, the safety car entered the track as a result of the accident of his compatriot Nico Hulkenberg,
the little Kaiser indicated: "Well, definitely from our point of view, it was not necessary, but it made everything much more interesting in the end".
"We had a great start and obviously, it was crucial to take the lead immediately. The car was difficult but sensational to drive and it was a great race, where we showed to have a great pace,"
said Vettel, a four-time world champion, with Red Bull, a team with which he won four titles between 2010 and 2013.
"I want to give thousands of thanks to the team, for the great recovery since Friday. Today I think everything went well; and despite the 'safety car' period, we managed to win, so I also dedicate this victory to the team,"
said Vettel.
