Boxing Event 'Arde La Laguna' Take Place This Friday
The protagonists of the boxing event called 'Arde La Laguna' are ready for their respective fights that will take place this Friday at the Torreón Gymnasium in the Sports Complex, where 'Mapi' Portales and 'Guerrero' Gurrola will be the main fighters.
Yesterday, a press conference was held where the company and the boxers reiterated their commitment to offer a great show to the fans.
Alina Garza Herrera, Director of the Municipal Sports Institute, attended the conference as a guest, as did Ramón Luján, President of the Boxing and Wrestling Commission.
To add a special touch to this event, it is announced as a match between boxers from Coahuila and Durango, therefore, a divided audience is expected in the stands.
The national Flyweight champion and interim WBA champion, Arely 'Metralladora' Muciño, will attend as a special guest to this event.
The main fight will feature Josué "Mapi" Portales and Luis "Guerrero" Gurrola, in a 10-round fight in the Flyweight division.
In the semifinal fight, Carlos 'El Churro' Valverde, the pride of Matamoros, Coahuila, will face Josué 'Chino' Castañeda from Gómez Palacio, in a 10-round fight in the Middleweight category.
Meanwhile, Iván 'El Ruso' Pereyra and Joaquín 'El Intocable' Pérez will face each other in a 10-round fight in the 64-kilogram division.
Another attraction is the return of Alejandro González, who will fight against Emanuel Martínez, in a 6-round fight in the Featherweight category.
The program also includes 5 fights of 4 rounds each, with Edson Ali Pereyra and Jorge Pérez competing in the Lightweight division.
In the Heavyweight category, Joaquín 'La Bomba' Cervantes will face Gerardo Ramírez, and Bruno Ochoa will fight against Luis González.
In the 53-kilogram division, Rodolfo Castillo will be the opponent of Ernesto Hernández, while in the Super Featherweight division, Eliot Chávez will face Afarat Ortiz.

The national Flyweight champion and interim WBA champion, Arely 'Metralladora' Muciño, will attend as a special guest to this event.
As for the public training session, it was announced that it will take place this Wednesday at 13:00 hours at the ring of the La Jabonera Sports Complex, where the event organizers will give away 200 tickets to the attending public, and the same will happen at the weigh-in ceremony.
