President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, congratulates the Spanish U-19 national team for winning the European Championship by defeating Russia 2-0 in the tournament held in Greece.

Rajoy has sent a message to the president of the Spanish Royal Football Federation, Angel María Villar, to convey, on his behalf and on behalf of all Spaniards, the warmest thanks and congratulations to the Spanish U-19 national football team.

In the opinion of the President of the Government, the team is "superbly led by Jesús Vallejo" and by the "Rioja-born coach Luis de la Fuente".

Therefore, Rajoy believes that with this victory, "la Rojita is crowned as the next generation, a very united group full of courage and ability, in which work is shared and every player counts".
