The Hardy Boyz made their triumphant return to WWE

Last April at WrestleMania 33 they won the Raw Tag Team Championship, which they recently lost at Extreme Rules.

Jeff Hardy was recently invited on Chris Jericho's Talk Is Jericho podcast where the goal of the episode was for Jeff to meet Dean Ambrose for the first time.

During the conversation between the three men, Jeff was asked about a variety of topics, including if he could have a rivalry with his brother again.

If their return to WWE was inevitable:

"It was one of those things that was inevitable. I wasn't sure how it was going to happen, but deep down I always knew, it's just the perfect story. From the fight in ROH to becoming Raw tag team champions. I mean, it's just the perfect story."

It was difficult to keep their WrestleMania return a secret:

"We knew that after our contracts expired with the other company, it wouldn't be much of a secret, but it was just a matter of keeping our mouths shut, which was very difficult. On the day of WrestleMania, I was lying like crazy. Even in the interviews conducted on Friday and Saturday before WrestleMania, I stated that we would be with Ring of Honor during the summer."

Facing Matt again in WWE:

"The fans want to see the Hardys together, but I'm not sure they want to see us facing each other. It's great for us, because we're like Bret and Owen Hart fighting each other. For us, it's incredible to be rivals, and I'd like us to be rivals again. But the truth is that people prefer to see us together instead of being separated."
