Kia Stevens has been one of the most dominant wrestlers in the history of world wrestling.
Since her debut in Japanese wrestling at the beginning of this century, she was placed in stellar plans. In All Japan Women, promoter Masatsugu Matsunaga baptized her as Amazing Kong, in order for her to be the successor of the legendary Aja Kong. Later, she returned to the United States, where she wrestled for Shimmer, Ring of Honor and TNA, where her name was changed to Awesome Kong.
In TNA, Stevens had an impressive rivalry with Gail Kim, which placed the women's division of that company at a much higher level than WWE.
In 2011, she signed with WWE, being baptized as Kharma. Her character would be that of a Divas destroyer, but a pregnancy caused the story to be discarded. Her only match in WWE was the Royal Rumble 2012. In July of that year, WWE released her from her contract.
Stevens was interviewed by Ring Rust Radio, where she revealed some of the plans that WWE had for her before her unexpected pregnancy:
"I can only speculate, but I think Kharma had a 99.9 percent chance of being champion, and then they expected to bring in a new girl who would be a super Diva so she could beat me."
"That was my goal, and it was something Triple H and I talked about. Bring in a girl for a rivalry, grow her to the sky and make money for everyone."
"We never talked about who she might be, we didn't get that far, because I left during my honeymoon with the company."
