Crazzy Steve was one of the most popular wrestlers that Impact Wrestling had in recent years!
The role he had in that promotion was to be part of the famous faction Decay, known for its eccentric characters and its particular way of fighting in the ring.
However, the Canadian decided to take a 180-degree turn in his career when he notified TNA officials that he would leave the company. This opportunity was seized by WWE, who according to the Wrestling Observer radio offered him a contract.
After almost exactly two months, WWE published an article showcasing potential Superstars who went to try out at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Crazzy Steve was among those who participated in the tryout.
In the article published by Vince McMahon's company, it was detailed that the former member of Decay trained with Eric Young, another TNA veteran who recently joined WWE. This may not be special, but perhaps Young was in charge of training with his former colleague because he has a faction similar to Decay, and Steve could be an ideal addition to it.
