Tour de France 2015: With a 2:52 lead over the second classified rider, Tejay Van Garderen, Chris Froome remains the top favorite to win the Tour de France 2015. The British rider from the Sky team spoke after stage 11 and made it clear that he hopes Alberto Contador and Nairo Quintana will attack tomorrow on the climb to Plateau de Beille.
"I am in a very good position right now, and I have a great team around me. The best thing for us is to run defensively from now on, trying to keep up with the other contenders," said Froome.
The leader of the Tour believes that tomorrow's stage could be crucial for the outcome of this race.
"I remember that stage, the finish at Plateau de Beille is brutal, similar to yesterday's (La Piedra de San Martín). We hope Nairo and Contador attack, and I will act on the road as it unfolds," concluded Froome.
