However, the National Scholarship and Credit Program (Pronabec) of the Ministry of Education has implemented a modality for university students to complete their degrees. What is it? We are referring to the Continuity Scholarship 2023.

Who can access the Continuity Scholarship 2023?
According to Pronabec's decree, only students belonging to higher education institutions with institutional licenses from the National Superintendency of Higher University Education (Sunedu) will be eligible. What are the requirements to participate in the Pronabec competition?
- Be of Peruvian nationality.
- Acknowledge economic vulnerability: being in poverty, extreme poverty, or being a recipient of the Yanapay Bonus.
- Prove affiliation with the upper middle of the career you have studied.
- Be enrolled - in 2022 - in an eligible higher education institution for the competition.
If I am not studying in 2022, can I still apply?
Yes, but you must have proof or a document showing your reservation of enrollment or not having enrolled in the mentioned period. That is, you only had to register between the second and penultimate academic semester in the second half of 2021, or between the second and penultimate of 2021.
What will the Continuity Scholarship 2023 fund?
- If you have studied at a private higher education institution, your enrollment and tuition will be covered.
- If you belong to a public higher education institution, food, local transportation, and office supplies will be financed.
According to Law No. 31719, the institution must finance the continuation and completion of those students economically affected by the pandemic.
