During the May 20, 2023 edition, the television personality narrated the details that have emerged in his body, after having been infected 5 times by Covid-19, different failures have occurred in this vital organ.
"You know that as a result of the 5 Covid that I had, every week, every month failures have been occurring (in the heart)", Hurtado began, to then reveal the possible tumor that is lodged in that area.
"To our misfortune, yesterday in the exams, a possible tumor has been discovered in my heart. It is there, we are going to do a screening next week (...) We are working on the issue at the San Pablo clinic", he expressed.
"We have found that the arteries have remained intact, there is no need to open and operate behind. But there was, as they say, a 'San Andrés failure'", explained Andrés Hurtado.
Afterwards, the medical professional present on the show indicated that it was a lipoma. "This is what just appeared in my heart, yesterday (...) God willing, it will be a malignant or benign tumor. Today I had to face it", concluded the host of Panamericana Televisión.
