Less than a week away from celebrating Halloween and Día de la Canción Criolla, different party organizers claim that they will not cancel their events, despite the government's provision to prevent COVID-19 infections.
In that regard, an organizer of a Halloween party in San Juan de Lurigancho (SJL) affirmed that their show cannot be cancelled, ensuring that the event's promotion will continue on social media until the day of the show.
Through information obtained by RPP, a reporter pretended to be an interested user in purchasing a ticket for the 'Noche de Brujas' party. That's when the entrepreneur assured that the party will take place "without a doubt", stating that their event will be carried out under the permission of 'performing arts', so it cannot be cancelled.
"When obtaining the permissions, we obtained them as performing arts. Performing arts are allowed, within the law, with all the protocols and everything. Additionally, we are not new. We have always organized parties within San Juan and we have everything perfectly arranged," commented the party organizer.

The aforementioned Halloween party organizer boasted about having 'contacts at hand' and thus being covered in case of any unforeseen event. "So don't worry about that, there is no problem at all," he states in the video.

The RPP journalist reportedly did the same with other event organizers for this October 31st, but what she got were similar responses: The permits are under the concept of 'performing arts', so the parties cannot be cancelled despite the government's provisions.
As it is known, the Ministry of the Interior announced that mass events and social gatherings are prohibited this Sunday, October 31st. In addition, administrative procedures and sanctions were warned in case of non-compliance with the regulations.
