Through telematic means, the presidents of the 26 clubs of the series A and B tournaments of LigaPro will analyze the possibility of a change in format in their tournaments on Wednesday, once national authorities give the green light to resume football activity in the country.
The meeting will take place from 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 20th, with two defined points on the agenda, according to the communication sent.
In the first part, the presidents will discuss the protocol presented by the organization to the health authorities to resume the tournaments, while in the second part of the session, they will discuss "a Reform regarding the System or Format of the LigaPro competitions" in both series.

LigaPro studies decentralized tournament from July and without relegations for two years
In the communication extended to the presidents of the 26 affiliated clubs, it is clarified that the tournament model under analysis includes "the promotion and relegation system", which will affect "the 2020 season and onwards".
Similarly, it is noted that "the implementation of reforms to the economic fines of the Financial Control Sanctioning System" will be studied.
The LigaPro management considers that the tournaments could be resumed in July, a possibility that gained strength on Sunday after the announcement by the Minister of Government María Paula Romo, who, based on assessments of "health indicators" by the National COE, would allow for the resumption of championships and sports competitions at a national level in that month, under the condition that they are held without spectators.
