The solidarity auction promoted by Spanish sportsmen Sergio Rodríguez and Pedro Rodríguez -international basketball and football players, respectively- has raised more than 20,000 euros to help the most affected families by the coronavirus crisis.
A few hours before the auction closed, in which there were items donated by Neymar, Busquets, David Silva, Cesc Fabregas, Sergio and Pedro themselves, the collection is already 20,063 euros.
Among the most coveted items in the bidding were Felipe Reyes' 'final four' jersey, the one donated by Neymar, and the exclusive gifts from Pedro (the jersey of his debut in the Premier League) and Sergio Rodríguez (a Sixers jersey and the Olympic bronze jersey from Rio 2016).
All these gifts have exceeded 500 euros, as well as Pepe Reina's equipment in the Spain-Honduras World Cup match. The contributions for Andrés Iniesta's attire with Vissel Kobe, the historic 89 promotion jersey of Tenerife to La Liga given by former captain Toño, or the most recent one from former player Alejandro Alfaro, commemorative of the last season that Tenerife rose to La Liga have also broken records.
