APF provides support to clubs in the First Division for player payments
The national football entity referred in a statement "that it managed with the South American Confederation the provision of additional resources to provide relief to its associates, due to the forced temporary suspension of the championship due to the pandemic."
Through this procedure, the APF will provide an extraordinary contribution of Gs. 3,600,000,000, which is equivalent to Gs. 300,000,000 for each of the entities that make up the Paraguayan soccer First Division.
The Association pointed out that these economic resources will be destined "solely and exclusively for payments to the player squad." It also pointed out that the fund comes from the Conmebol Evolution program, which will monitor the correct use of the disbursement.
