Camino del Inca 2019: Up to now, 38 crews have already secured their participation in the Gran Premio Caminos del Inca 2019. And this Saturday will be the closing of registration for the traditional race, which will take place from October 12 to 20.

As in recent years, there is once again a massive presence of drivers from the interior of the country. Of the 38 registered, 22 are from different regions of the country, with Apurimac having the highest presence (8), followed by Ayacucho (4) and Arequipa (3).

Lima will have 16 representatives, of which 15 will be from the capital and 1 from Sayan - Huaura. The regions of Cusco, Junin, and Puno will have 2 representatives, while Ica will have only 1.

The Trucks category will be the largest with 15 drivers, where Diego Weber, Alvaro Silva, Alfredo Lira, Nicolas Traverso, Lucho Mendoza, among others, stand out. In addition, Ricardo Dasso and Oscar Dufour, winners in 1986 and 1996 respectively.

On the other hand, Richard Palomino, winner of the last edition, and Jorge Martinez, with their new vehicles, will mark the debut of the RC2 category (Maxi Rally) in the Gran Premio Nacional.

It is worth noting that Caminos del Inca is one of the most anticipated sports events in the country. Especially in the central and southern highlands, where vehicles are welcomed with great ovation.
