Historic Result for Nicolaus Fuchs in the Dakar 2018
A historic result was achieved by our national pilot Nicolaus Fuchs in the start of the Dakar 2018 where he took 3rd place in the first stage in cars, making his aspirations clear for this edition of the race alongside his Argentine navigator Fernando Mussano.
With a final time of 22m25s, Nicolaus finished in the top positions alongside Qatari prince Nasser Al-Attiyah (1st with 21m51s) and Dutchman Bernhard Ten Brinke (2nd with 22m16s), a great result considering both drivers are from the official Toyota team.
In this way, Nicolaus reaches for the first time a third place in a stage in his second participation in the Dakar after obtaining 12th place in the 2017 edition, something never achieved by a national car driver.
