June 7 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA announced on Tuesday that they have fired head coach and general manager Derek Fisher.
The Sparks stated that assistant coach Fred Williams will temporarily take over Fisher's role on the sideline. The organization also mentioned that they will begin their search for a new general manager immediately.
