Kyle Lowry added 33 points and 14 rebounds on Saturday as the NBA defending champion Toronto Raptors resumed their campaign by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers for the eleventh consecutive time, this time by 107-92.
OG Aunoby scored 23 points for the Raptors, who are in second place in the Eastern Conference and have not been defeated by Los Angeles since the 2014-15 season.
Lowry shined in the second half to stop a Lakers comeback, who have been characterized by slow starts in this campaign resumption. Los Angeles leads the Western Conference and has a 1-1 record in the restart.

The "magic number" for the Lakers to secure the first place in the West remains at one game.
Lowry's most relevant shot was a three-pointer from the right side that gave Toronto a 97-86 lead with 3:01 minutes left to play.
LeBron James scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Lakers, while Anthony Davis scored only 14 points after achieving 34 in the victory over the Clippers, which marked the restart of the season.
Clippers' Three-Point Exhibition
Paul George made three consecutive three-pointers in the first minutes and totaled eight to contribute with 28 points in the victory obtained on Saturday by the Los Angeles Clippers, 126-103 over the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Clippers launched a barrage of three-pointers, setting a team record. They made 25 of 47 three-point shots.
George made eight of 11.
Likewise, the Clippers tied the team record for most triples made in a half, and were only one away from the NBA record, making 16 of 24, taking a 77-45 lead at halftime.

The Lakers sank their first six three-pointers to take a 20-6 lead. Patrick Beverley made a shot from behind the arc for the Clippers' first points, and George made it in three consecutive possessions to put the score at 12-2 with just 2:11 minutes played.
Kawhi Leonard and Beverley helped in that series of three-pointers, making it six in a row. Leonard then had the Clippers' first miss.
The Lakers made nine of 13 three-point shots in the first quarter to take a 37-25 lead.
Leonard scored 24 points for the Clippers, who bounced back from a defeat to the Lakers on Thursday during the restart of the campaign in the "bubble".
