The NCAA tournament exited Bridgestone Arena Sunday after a frenzied weekend, but it won’t be back for at least five years.

That’s not a sign that Nashville is an unattractive host. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.

The SEC men’s basketball tournament is locked in at Bridgestone Arena for six of the next seven years (2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025).

The SEC women’s tournament is here in 2022 and 2026. And Bridgestone Arena is a finalist to host the Women’s Final Four in 2023 or 2024, with those sites announced in early October.

In short, the future calendars in March are pretty full, especially considering the Predators’ home ice is at the same facility.
