The Rock'n Roll marathon series, which will celebrate another one of its successful editions in Mexico City in March, knows how to motivate its runners during this 2017.
Through its website, the five medals that running enthusiasts can collect were published. However, they must complete certain circuits to earn these unique awards.
MARATHON CHALLENGE
The marathon challenge consists of running at least three of the 42-kilometer competitions stipulated in the Rock'n Roll Marathon Series calendar. The medal in question pays homage to its origins in the municipality of Marathon, Greece.
BUCKET LIST
This curious medal, in the form of a bucket with two structures representing the cities of San Francisco and Brooklyn, can be yours if you complete the half marathons that will be held in these places in the United States.
BEACH TO BEACH
If beach circuits are your thing, you practically have this medal in the bag. Shaped like an island with a hammock hanging from two palm trees, all you have to do is complete any distance belonging to the Rock'n Roll San Diego and Rock'n Roll Virginia Beach races.
2017 WORLD ROCKER
This is one of the medals that will surely be among the most coveted by competitors, both for its eccentric design and for the challenge you must complete to hang it around your neck. To make this colorful globe-shaped medal with headphones surrounding it yours, you must complete a marathon or half marathon in two different countries.
LONE STAR LEGEND
For those who travel frequently to Texas or live there, this distinction must be among their achievements. With the silhouette of the state as the base of the medal and the name of the medal next to the cities of Dallas and San Antonio, you must run the Humana Rock'n Roll San Antonio marathon or half marathon and the Humana Rock'n Roll Dallas half marathon.
