The first edition of the "Run for Life" race will take place this Sunday, March 25, starting at 07:00.
This event is part of the activities of the municipal program "Friend, you are no longer alone", focused on preventing and combating violence against women.
The registration was free for men and women, who registered on the website www.amigayanoestassola.com, where the terms and conditions of the competition can be found.
The race categories will be 5k and 10k: 16-25 years, 26-40 years, 41-55 years, and 56 years and older.
The 5k route will be: Plaza Colon - Rocafuerte - Street 9B NE - Cordova - Padre Aguirre - Panama-Pichincha - Aguirre - Chile - Olmedo - Malecon Simon Bolivar - Loja - Rocafuerte - Plaza Colon.
To complete the 10k route, runners must complete two laps of the aforementioned circuit.
Kit delivery will take place today and tomorrow, from 09:00 to 17:00 in Plaza Colon.
The top three places in all categories, both in men and women, will be awarded. All participants will receive an official medal. (I)
