The coach of Alianza Lima, Pablo Bengoechea, spoke to Capital about the good performance of Kevin Quevedo, who scored four goals in the 7-2 victory against Juan Aurich, and stated that he has the potential to be a great forward.
He commented that his interest in the 20-year-old player started before he went to the Sudamericano. "I think (Quevedo) has very good characteristics. He has adapted to the First Division, even too quickly. I see him well, a forward with great future".
Bengoechea also highlighted the work of other young players like Francisco Duclós, Luis Garro, Diego Li, Cotrina, Anthony Lavalle, and Fuentes. "Those who contribute to the team play because they deserve it, not out of obligation. Luckily, we have many players who contribute to the team, and that is a great advantage".
About the national team
For the Uruguayan coach, the Peruvian national team is obligated to win six points in the double round of the qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay in order to continue fighting for a World Cup spot.
