Michael Orozco offered an apology to Hirving Lozano, who ended up in the hospital after the player from Xolos de Tijuana, in a hard tackle, caused a deep cut on the right ankle of the Pachuca's soccer player.
WE RECOMMEND: The shocking cut on Hirving Lozano.
"It was never my intention, I apologized to the player and asked Miguel (Herrera) for a substitution", Orozco said after the 3-2 defeat that Tuzos inflicted on the border's dog at the beginning of Round 9 of Clausura 2017.
In the 12th minute, Michael Orozco went in with force and stepped on Lozano's joint, who left the field on a stretcher with tears in his eyes.
"That's why I decided to leave, I wasn't feeling well. I wasn't comfortable with what was happening; I'm very sad because he is a growing figure and is very important for the league, for the team; so, I apologize to him, to his team and to the whole league. It was never my intention for him to leave, much less in that way".
Pachuca shared the photo of Lozano's injured ankle, a deep cut that wouldn't be a fracture, although there is still no official medical report.
