Mick Foley, former WWE superstar and current Raw general manager, announced through his social media that he has managed to lose 100 pounds (45 kilograms) over the past few months. And although some fans believed he was getting in shape to return to the ring, it seems he only did it to please Vince McMahon.

It turns out that Mick Foley revealed that one of the main reasons that motivated him to start losing weight was precisely a call from Vince McMahon. This happened a couple of months before his appearance at WrestleMania 32, where he faced the League of Nations alongside Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels.
"I feel great about this! 100 big ones! [...] Last January, I had my first phone call with Vince in a long time. I told him I had lost 25 pounds, down to 315, and planned to lose a total of 80 by Christmas. I heard Mr. McMahon say 'I'll take note of this' and I said 'alright, 258 by Christmas'," Mick Foley said.
"I wonder if I could have done it without that call. Without it, I think my enthusiasm would have died after WrestleMania. Deep down, in one way or another, whether we admit it or not, we all seek Mr. McMahon's approval," Mick Foley concluded.
Regardless of the reasons that drove Mick Foley to change his lifestyle, the 51-year-old former wrestler has managed to regain the weight he had in his best years in the ring. This is no small feat.
