Rodeo Show "Fearless Cowboys" a Great Success

The "Fearless Cowboys" rodeo show was successfully held yesterday afternoon at the Alberto Balderas Bullring in Ciudad Lerdo. The venue had a moderate turnout to see the region's bravest riders tame brand of bulls weighing almost a ton.

Laguna families came to watch a show full of adrenaline and excitement, which also featured the fastest barrel racers in the region. The event concluded with live music performances.

After the traditional cowboy prayer, the show started around 5:00 pm. Qualified judges, including Rodolfo de la Peña, were present to enforce the rules and evaluate the rides.

During the thrilling qualification round, the best riders took the arena. Armando Pliego from Morelos emerged as the champion, successfully taming the beast for eight seconds and earning 78 points. In second place was Alonso Aguero from Juan Aldama, Zacatecas.

In the barrel racing category, Ana Isabel Martínez took the top spot, followed by Arián Flores in second place and Jimena Macías in third.

In the Goat Tying event, Diego Ceniceros took top honors, with Carlos Ramos securing the second position. Musical groups took the stage to entertain the crowd after the sports event concluded.
