The vice president of Chapecoense, Ivan Tozzo, cried during an interview after the death of 19 players from the team was confirmed.
"Now that we have reached a national exposure, such a tragedy happens. It is very difficult. The sadness is very big," said the leader unable to contain his tears.
Of the 22 players who were traveling on the plane, only three survived: the goalkeeper Follman and the defenders Alan Ruschel and Helio Neto.
Fans and family members of the players continue to arrive at the Santa Catalina stadium, south of the city of Chapecó, to be informed about the accident that took place in Colombia.
"We are gathered at the stadium, receiving the affected people, the people who love Chapecoense," added a very distraught Tozzo.
