Peru vs Brazil Match Analysis
Omar Ruiz de Somocurcio's analysis:
Pedro Gallese did not have much responsibility for the goals, although he initially seemed insecure. The defense, in general, performed well, especially with Rodriguez anticipating the Brazilian players' moves.
Low points:
Pedro Aquino had a difficult task and suffered several times against Gabriel Jesus. However, he never gave up and fought for every ball, although he had some responsibility for the goals.
Christian Cueva and Andre Carrillo's performances:
Christian Cueva tried to create opportunities for Peru, but he felt isolated. He couldn't find Paolo Guerrero as an ideal partner, and whenever he had the ball, he was surrounded by two or three Brazilian defenders. Andre Carrillo ran out of energy in the first half and had to be substituted.
