Vehicle loses control at the 14th Rally Legend in San Marino
A vehicle lost control at the 14th Rally Legend in San Marino, leaving one person dead and eight injured.
The Renault Clio Maxi with the number 44, driven by Enrico Bonaso and Alice Palazzi, failed to turn at one of the corners of the street circuit and went straight, hitting two marshals and several spectators who were watching the event.
In the incident, Enrico Anselmino, 57 years old, died and three of the eight injured are in serious condition.
The Race Direction immediately suspended the competition as all the safety units were dispatched to the area.
All race results were declared null and void.
