Anderson Silva will have the toughest fight of his career in the UFC, when he faces the light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier, in the main event of UFC 200, today Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

'The Spider' Anderson Silva is no longer a young man. At 41 years old, when the best moments of his career have already passed, he accepted the fight at UFC 200, replacing the suspended Jon Jones.

Without a doubt, Anderson Silva is not the favorite to win, despite that he took the fight against Cormier, just two days before UFC 200.

On his previous appearance, Anderson Silva lost by unanimous decision to Michael Bisping in London, and he has four fights without a win.

On the other hand, Daniel Cormier comes to this UFC 200 with the best preparation of his life, as he stated.

After Jon Jones withdrew from the card, Cormier also feared being removed from the fights, but the UFC executives found Anderson Silva as the replacement for 'Bones'.

The encounter between Anderson Silva and Daniel Cormier will be a three-round fight in the light heavyweight division, although the title will not be at stake.

In the main event of the UFC, Miesha Tate will defend her bantamweight title against Amanda Nunes and minutes before that, Brock Lesnar will have a face-off with Mark Hunt.

In the other fights, José Aldo Jr. and Frankie Edgar will fight for the interim featherweight title and Cain Velasquez will have a face-off with Travis Browne.

UFC 200 will take place from 5:30 pm (Peruvian time) today Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The broadcast will be handled by UFC Network (526 on Claro and 795 on Movistar).
