Prior to the game against Peru vs. Argentina, for the fourth match of the South American Qualifiers 2026, a young fan stole all the attention, after fervently cheering for the Inca team outside their concentration hotel. Although Yoshimar Yotun managed to sign his shirt, the ‘Blanquirroja’ did not stay behind and surprised him with a great detail in the match against the ‘Albiceleste’.
Through their social media, the Inca team published an emotional video showing the great detail they had with the child. “A true fan at heart. Ignacio's dream come true and an unforgettable moment with the Peruvian National Team and Big Cola. With identity and passion always. Let's keep believing,” reads the message that accompanied the post.
It is worth noting that in the small clip, Ignacio narrates the precise moment when he found out that he would go to the field together with Yoshimar Yotun. Even in the images, it shows how the child fervently sings the national anthem with the players.
“The Peruvian national team found out that Yotun had signed my shirt and asked for help to find me. They wrote to my mom and I said: "We have come this far, I cannot ask for more". I know this is not something common that happens in life and I feel fortunate. I believe in the team and there is nothing that Peru cannot do. The truth is, I love Messi, but we were born here. We must cheer for our country,” he said.
