"He is a coach who has great qualities in terms of his own name and has been a person who did things well with Peru qualifying for a World Cup after more than 30 years, I believe. He has a lot of prestige, whether he has possibilities or not, I don't know. What I can tell you is that it is an attractive name and it interests us," said Vivas in a press conference.
On the other hand, there is Gustavo Alfaro, a 61-year-old former coach of Boca Juniors, who is also gaining strength to go to Racing in Argentina, after the departure of Fernando Gago from the Xeneize team. Despite that, his name is strong in Costa Rica.
