The Peruvian National Team has already chosen its players for the October double header. Juan Reynoso has announced the complete list of players to face the matches against Chile and Argentina in the South American Qualifiers.

The 'Ajedrecista' made some changes compared to the first list of called up players against Paraguay and Brazil. One of those returning for 2023 is Santiago Ormeño. The forward was last included in the squad (he remained on the bench) in the first friendly match of this cycle with Reynoso against Mexico. When did he last play? In the friendly prior to the play-offs, against New Zealand on June 5, 2022.

Finally, the returns of Alexander Callens, Pedro Aquino, Anderson Santamaría, and Bryan Reyna stand out, who could get some minutes in this October double header, where Peru will be looking for their first 3 points in these Qualifiers.
