In one of the latest episodes of 'A Presión', Julinho brought up the contribution of two notable 'number 10' players in the Peruvian national team, Roberto 'Chorri' Palacios and Christian Cueva.
Julinho, who shared the dressing room with 'Chorrillano' in Sporting Cristal and the Peruvian national team, affirmed that although he really likes Cueva in the team, it must be admitted that Palacios' achievements were even superior.
"I love Cueva, but what 'Chorri' did is on another level. The difference is that he never played in the World Cup," stated the former Celeste forward on the set of A Presión.
Numbers of Roberto Palacios in the Peruvian national team
Palacios played 109 matches wearing the white and red shirt, scoring 18 goals with 10 assists. Interestingly, the majority of his goals were brilliant, earning him the nickname 'Chorrigolazos' for all his goals.
Numbers of Christian Cueva with Peru
On the other hand, 'Cuevita' has 98 appearances with the national team, scoring 16 goals with 16 assists. Among his most notable achievements are the runner-up in the 2019 Copa America and participation in the 2018 World Cup.
