Raul Ruidiaz's injury confirmed: Will he miss the October FIFA date? [VIDEO]

The Peruvian attacker was absent from the latest Seattle Sounders practice after "suffering an injury in the hamstring," they reported.

Seattle Sounders coach, Brian Schmetzer, confirmed that Peruvian player Raúl Ruidíaz has suffered an injury and will be out for the next match against Colorado Rapids in the Major League Soccer (MLS).

According to journalist Jeremia Oshan, the 'Pulga' was absent from the last practice session due to an unknown physical problem, and it is unknown how long the recovery time will be.

"Raúl Ruidíaz did not train today after suffering a hamstring injury," reported Oshan, who covers the team's training sessions in Washington.

It is currently unknown if the attacker will be able to join the Peruvian National Team for the matches against Chile (October 12th) and Argentina (October 17th) in the 2026 Qualifiers.

On the other hand, Seattle Sounders is currently ranked third in the Western Conference table of the MLS with 42 points and is almost guaranteed a spot in the final series.

It's important to mention that Raúl Ruidíaz has scored 5 goals in 18 matches played.
